till there. To solve my issue, I need to keep all loop data with
timestamps after the top of the newest archive interval remaining in the
front end, after syncing it with the newest backend data.

The problem is in /home/weewx/skins/External/index.html.tmpl
There is a comparision (greater than) between two values, where one of them
(the left) is None.
something like:
#if $val > $other
Where $val is None and $other an integer. Where is the template from, who
made it?

I want to inform the front end a certain event occurs on the backend, to be
more exact: when a report is finished. Does something like this exist?
If not, my ideas:
My front end is running a MQTT client and can be configured to listen to
such events. My idea is to hook into a report and emit a

option to get the data into weewx come to my mind:
- creating an extension and polling the inverter
- find a way to let the inverter emit MQTT
There is no average direction, what you are looking for is the direction of
a vector, the resulting vector (speed, direction) of all measuerements of a
given timespan. I am not too familiar with all database tables and entries,
but I thinking of the parts I know, I doubt that you can retrieve

Certainly an interesting spin-off discussion: developing a platform to
ensure our data will remain our data. A first approach could be designing a
console. Many stations out there, modular or not, use wireless sensors that
only transmit their readings unencrypted and simplex. It should be

Hi,
why isn't FTP'ing from the Pi to any simple webspace an option? For MQTT
features you'll probably get along with flespi.io
Or did I miss something?

No, currently filtering is not possible for messages with a JSON payload,
at least none that I am aware of (and I am the author of this part). You
can file an issue https://github.com/brewster76/fuzzy-archer/issues and I
can take this as into account as a new feature for a future version. It
