I'd say for interviews specifically about WM-au then asking for it to be
under a free license would be a good idea but for instances like this where
the value to "us" is in being contacted and quoted then it shouldnt be a

Hi.
How do copyrights work on interviews? Does the interviewee have joint
copyright? And more specifically, are we able to place any interviews
with Wikimedia members under a Creative Commons license (with the
interviewee's permission)? Or does a joint copyright need to be a
precondition of the in

Yuh. Lesson 1: they'll always use the title.
So the trick is to get NPOV into a soundbite ...

WikiPedia Australia's President Brianna was sound quoted the most.
Andrew's negative sound quote was also used.
Prof. Julian Thomas of Swinburne Uni was also sound quoted.

WM-AU doesn't have positions on internal things regarding en.wikipedia - we
exist to promote free content. When I was asked, I avoided any mention of
the foundation and simply expressed my views as an Australia-based
administrator, and made clear to her that as there are 1500-2000

There is no WMAU position on flagged revisions (FR). Did you notice

Hi,
I just did a bit of an interview with Rachael Brown for the ABC radio show 'PM'.
Apparently it is on twice an evening: Radio National 5.10pm, and ABC
local (774 in Melbourne) at 6.10pm.
Here's hoping it sounds OK, if someone could make a digital recording
somehow that would be ace :)
