Anyone know what power supply specs I'd need for a
YDI AP-Plus (the older kind with the card slots)? I'm removing it from a
WiPOP-In-A-Box which has built-in power supplies. I think it's
48vdc.
Thanks.

OK...I've got TR-601f AP's running 2.10 (TR6-2.0.1Rt) firmware. The v89
firmware I was referring to was at the client, not the AP.

Mac, what are you seeing? Have you used 89? 88 had issues (firmware units
were shipped with), I've upgraded to 89. Not had any issues, but only in
production for about a week.

I've been using them for about a month now for a
couple of smaller sectors. Had stability problems with the AP's that I was
using (YDI AP-Plus w/Turbocell, operating as an 802.11b AP). I then
installed Tranzeo AP's. I had issues with them not reconnecting to the AP
when the AP was power-
They send out an ARP packet if you can plug in locally and do a frame capture.

standard amongst all YDI/Terabeam/Now Proxim products that use this plug.
These two products together will make the 'Outdoor Ethernet Splice possible

Anyone hear any rumors of future support of
this from Trango or Moto??? How about a volume purchase agreement
from WISPA? And if you spray it vertically or horizontally does it make a
difference?

I have recommended Linksys routers since the
beginning. There are others that are just as good, some that may have a
feature that you like better, but all in all they have been very good
IMHO. There are only a couple times in the last 5 years that I can
remember actually needing to recomme
Then you get the guy who sets his router back to
factory defaults on the advice of tech support brother-in-law...
I try to support everything out of the box: IP
address changes, MAC address cloning, etc. so that when they hold that little
button in for 10 seconds it doesn't generate a phone
I know that the Linksys Wireless-G routers "V5"
that are on the shelves now have firmware issues. One of them is obtaining
a DHCP-assigned address from a Windows2000 DHCP server. Firmware v1.00.4
fixed this, and I see that v1.00.6 is out now with even more fixes.

Thanks, I just ordered one. I'll check it out. If it can be weatherproofed
and isn't too difficult to deal with it may solve my problem of having
enough cable as I replace the EtherAnt-Turbo's.

I've got a TLink-10 MU that seems to have a problem. When the MU's opmode
is set to ON, the TXPKT LED comes on immediately and does not go out. The
link does not work, the RU will not connect.
Anyone seen this? Firmware is latest on the Trango site at v1.11.

I'm at the point on my network now that I really
need to control unnecessary bandwidth usage. The biggest problem is the
p2p users with their excessive upload, and worms come in a close
second.
My network is comprised of a Cisco 3640, Cisco
C4840G L3 switch for segmenting, and Dell 3324 m
