Yea, as long as there's a DTS decoder somewhere in the chain, whether it's
in the DVD player itself, or built into the reciever. There's two kinds of
DTS DVD players. One kind will pass the DTS signal digitaly through its
optical output to a receive

Sensation". They were both transfered from a Quad CD-4 format record,
through a Marantz Quad CD-4 decoder, to a 4 channel sound card to a hard
drive, then encoded with DTS, and burned to a CD so that it can be played
