They're CRAP thats why... They charge you extra for the Teflon they put in
powder form. Did you read the side of that packaging? They CLAIM that the
filter media will filter out all the bad stuff yet harmlessly pass the
teflon particles. What a CROCK!
Someone from one of the Mopar site did a test to open up these filters and
did a huge comparo to test filters.
The Doubleguard filter only had 196sq inches of filter material. No wonder
it passes the teflon without filtering it.
The Purolator Pure One I have on my car right now has almost 400sq in of
filter media. So does the Nissan OEM. Or pretty close to it.
See what I'm getting at here? FRAM is marketing a utter piece of crap and
they charge almost 2-3 times their regular filters which are probably
better! Their regular filters have more filter media surface area.
Stay away from FRAM
