Eh, that doesn't mean anything. You think the cheap Fram filters you find
at Kragen can even be comparable to the filters that the drag cars use? I
believe there was a SE-R listmember that blew his engine right before the
200K mark because he was racing and the cheap Fram filter he was using blew
off. Oh well, it's your own car. Do as you please. OEM filters only cost
about 4.50. I don't see how much you could save from buying Fram filters.
