Drag cars dont need good filtration, the oil is only in the car for one run.
After every pass they change the oil, so its not like it gets that dirty,
especially since the engine rebuilt quite often (its amazing how fast those
guys can rebuild an engine. I think its like 30 min or something.)so the
engine internals stay quite clean. So I dont think they are wooried about
the best filtration, however they do need very good flow, and in most cases
higher flow=less filtration (in the case of 5 buck oil filters this would
apply, if you go with a K&N filter or the equivalent you get good filtration
and better flow).Basically with all this rambling I am trying to say that
just becuase drag racers endorse the filter doesn't mean they are good.
