In my case one of the counter top RO units would
be much less expensive than a distiller, half the
price or less. They've got some 8 and 10 stage
units that filter fluoride as well on eBay that
I've been eyeballing. No one has had any
complaints about them at least. I don't like waste
water either, but it comes down to economics,
sigh. And a distiller doesn't make enough water
fast enough for 6 people and a new infant every
day. My second grand child was born two days ago:)
