I've used the Afibber's Cocktail (milk of magnesia and seltzer water) in the
past as a good source of magnesium without any side effects for arrythemias. I
recently made some to up my dose of magnesium and had some chest heaviness
after taking it so I didn't continue. I'm thinking the bicarbonate might be a
problem... just a guess.

My question is, does anyone know if adding a little lemon juice will neutralize
the bicarbonate? Obviously, I'm no chemist and I don't want to create worse
problems for myself.

Thanks for any help/explanation you can give.
