I have recently been reading about colloidal Gold and the many beneficial effects on depression and anxiety. Many people report feeling calmer and more composed in the face of stressors that previsouly made them very anxious or depressed.
Minerals are often more out of balance than vitamins. Simply taking metallic forms may not be the best way. Colloids and food based minerals are more efficiently absorbed. Look closely at Magnesium and Silicon, a trace mineral. Both can have a tremendous affect on sleep, mood and the way other minerals are absorbed or utilized. Many people take Calcium when what is actually needed is Mg and Si to utilize the Calcium. Too much Ca is implicated in heart disease.
