If you hold the tincture of echinacea in your mouth, or chew the tablet, and it doesn't make your mouth tingle and practically go numb, the herb is either being processed incorrectly, or wasn't potent in the first place due to its being grown on the wrong soil or being the incorrect species. Echinacea *always* works. That said, I have found Transfer Factor to be the most effective immune system booster, shown in studies to be several times as effective as echinacea.
