Boy you are lucky :o))) Here is Ontario they are nuts. Can't have raw milk.
Now they are now going to start banning dog breeds and going after dogs that Might look aggressive next. The breeds are to be neutered and muzzled that are now in the province and then non can be Imported, sold or traded in Ontario. Guess they plan to have guards at the Ontario/Manitoba border and the Quebec one to prevent them coming in. Since this government can't keep a promise they made at election time they are now switching peoples attention to vicious dogs (picking on a less common breed to start, though a few places have also banned Rottweiler and Akitas) Italy has now banned over 90 breeds including Corkies. Once this starts it escalates. I typed in "raw milk" on Google and found a state by state list of dairies. One was only 15 miles away, so I called them, and they said "come on over"! So I took my friend, and we came home with 1/2 gallon for me and 4 gallons for her and her 4 kids. She had tasted bad goat`s milk before and was really leery, but this was GOOD!!! They have over 300 goats, as well as cows, pigs, and other critters. (Lucky ducks. I`m a would-be farmer...) The milking stanchions were full of beautiful white Saanens, the breed of goat I had kept way back in 1969. I was the first 4-H Club Dairy Goat project member in Napa County, CA. Now they have several hundred 4-Hers raising goats!! Cool... Oh, memories. sigh... I`m going to give this milk a try and see if I feel better. Thanks for the input, you nice guys!! Marshalee PS, I told the farmers all about CS and its good results with mastitis and other infections in goats, and they are really interested in it!!!! I`ll be emailing them the info and directions tonight. What goes around comes around.
