I have been there Joy and done those studies. Peer reviewed journals are subject to more stringent standards than non-peer reviewed. Before you can make a judgement about scientific research you have to know the terms of discussion here and you also need to know a bit about statistics and raw data. That is which tests are valid to use on what type of data. Many publications do not review these aspects. Peer reviewed journals do. > In my > view, there is no such thing as "pure" science. You are speaking of the Heisinberg Uncertainly Principle which states that one can not simultaneously observe an electron and know its actual position because by the simple act of observation one changes that position. However since science by definition is a a body of observations there is not really any such term as "pure" science. That is a media term picked up by the lay person. > Doesn't mean > one shouldn't read the information that is out there, or check out > the references, but that can't be the basis of one's decision as to > whether information is good or not. Except perhaps in the case of Physics where common sense observation will lead you wrong in many cases. You see we are not always accurate in our observations, that is our senses, high functioning or ordinary and our personal experience is often interpreted through our consciousness. We are "behind the veil" and not always able to perceive the All That Is in its entirety. Part of life in the physical polarity universe. We can not simultaneously know unity consciousness and polarity consciousness for long or we will burn out the physical body. Been there. Came back a bit crisp but survived to tell about it.
