Actually what they (rain and waterfalls) produce is negative ions, not ozone.
An negative ions are associated with an invigorating, calming effect.

Now, lightning will produce ozone, as well as oxides of nitrogen.  These however
I do not believe tend to be invigorating like the negative ions are.
