Hi All We are looking at some new kit and we saw these from SuperMicro :
http://www.supermicro.com/products/system/1U/1027/SYS-1027R-WC1RT.cfm They seem to be a decent option and by the looks of things all the pieces are on the HCL. One question I have is how would you setup the 10 drives if we wanted to have 2 of the bays with SSD’s for cache. 7 disk raidz1 + spare ? Also the onboard controller only has 8 SAS ports on it which seems a little odd. Anyways I thought i would ask before going much further.
