Only talking for myself, not for Gaetan, of course, but: yes, this doesn't change the problem for me, I just tried that out. i.e., when I remove the ethernet cable from the plug, it won't boot either in the first round, but if I replug the cable quickly after the first failed boot, there's no problem getting into the BIOS loader / the operating system (most of the time; I had it twice now that I had to replug the cable a second time, but that was the maximum number of times I had to powercycle so far). > Then I found out that if I connected the boxes to one of my 100 Mbps > switches instead of the gig-e switch they booted fine. The respective switch is some no-name whatever equipment, but I should guess it doesn't have any influence on the box when the cable is unplugged. ;-) -- Heiko Wundram Product & Application Development _______________________________________________ Soekris-tech mailing list [email protected] http://lists.soekris.com/mailman/listinfo/soekris-tech
