I had one quick question. When I enter 'emacs .profile.' at the terminal I get a blank new file. I tried 'env' at the prompt, and I also don't have java listed. Is there something else I'm missing? I'm running the same system as you (Mac Book Pro, OS X 10.6.4), and have installed all the other packages stated, but can't figure out if there is anything additional I need.
