I had a file already there (under home directory), but it contained info about macports, so I think macports created the file. Since you are using fink, it makes sense the file is not there already. (but the again, I'm no expert on UNIX...). I was given 2 options by other users, but still don't know which works best...
JAVA_HOME=/Library/Java/Home export JAVA_HOME; or JAVA_HOME=/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6.0/ Home export JAVA_HOME; When i added that to the .profile, it also showed up in env and the rest of the compile ran fine. check this as well: http://groups.google.com/group/spctools-discuss/browse_thread/thread/c59d9251212981e8/9cb8ca6ba2b4e8ff?lnk=gst&q=10.6.4#9cb8ca6ba2b4e8ff bjorn -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "spctools-discuss" group.
