Given the work that Sun must have put into this project,
I see not reason not to endorse the project, at this stage,
based on what I have seen so far, which admittedly is very little.

In the absence of even a public PSARC, we seem to
need a project to be created in order to publish whatever
information can, if any, at this stage, be made public.

It seems crazy to me, not to endorse a project which
must have significant support within Sun, to have got
to the stage of code integration into Nevada.

Hopefully, in the future, the community's support
can be canvassed at an earlier stage, as Sun adjusts
to working with the OpenSolaris community.

Ok, so I hope we can see some documentation
of VSCAN soon - how it works and how to use it.

Are there any time-scales for announcing which
AV vendors you are working with on this?

I'm guessing the ICAP is "Internet Content Adaptation Protocol"

Thanks
