By introducing the VSCAN service project into the open community, we are hopefully opening up opportunities for integration with more of these vendors.
The VSCAN service does not require that the anti-virus application runs on Solaris (although obviously that would be nice ;-) ). The key requirement (currently) is that the application supports an ICAP interface.
