I just saw this and must comment.

Get off your high horse! No one, and I mean no one, supports the criminal 
behavior of priests and the efforts of those in the Church hierarchy to cover 
up those crimes.

Geez.

The Church is trying to make amends. They've paid tens of millions of dollars 
in legal awards to victims in the US alone. And priests have been jailed and 
defrocked for their crimes. There was even one that was killed in prison a few 
years ago.

As noted in the article by Alicia Colon, pedophilia rates among priests are far 
lower than among the general population. (Their rates homosexual obsession with 
teenaged males is about the same as in the general population.) 

There will be a time soon when such abuses within the Church will be a thing of 
the past, or very, very rare. You won't be able to say that about government 
run institutions now or anytime in the near future.

But you'll still keep those anti-Catholic knives sharp and ready, won't you?
