i think the craziest thing is that everyone knows someone or in fact is someone who has been affected by this issue i often wonder how much of the substance abuse, domestic violence, sociopathological behaviour and just sheer rage that besets the communities we all live in can be sheeted home to fact that culturally it is seen as better to ignore, hide and dismiss rather it than bring a Medieval Authoritative Institution in to disrepute . Likewise the idea that girls cause their own rapes by the way they behave - that is: living as independent humans choosing to wear perhaps a short skirt rather than victims of a power imbalance vis a vis the football team
