I did go ahead and downloaded the latest version of Xpostfacto, which turns out
was posted only several days ago.
Also (carefully) skimmed for all the caveats and need to go back and read
again.
This may also be an excuse to spring for an upgrade, which can go in either the
s900 or the boys' 7500.

Still feeling a bit timid messing with a perfectly stable 9.1 setup.
