Thanks for the suggestions.
I think I should be ok with the internal drives, all of them bootable.
In addition to the UW 9.1 Barracuda (in three partitions) running on the
Miles card, there is a Tempo card controlling the 60 gb 60GXP (in three
partitions.)
I also have the 7200 rpm 4.6 gb WD drive that came with the computer for
when the add-ons start acting up.
I may want to add a slave to the Tempo card.
And just in case, I can back up just about everything on the computer onto
the external 60 gb firewire drive.
Good idea on printing out the instructions - I should go ahead and do that.
Backup strategy is definitely high on the list before I make any attempts.
