Nope, the noise is definitely coming from the power supply, I have tried
with the monitor off, and being a high frequency noise, it is pretty easy to
localize.

Nah, I was actually deathly afraid of radiation as a child and stayed as far
away as possible from the TV and microwave in my house.  And the TV noise, I
could (and still can, when I visit my parents) hear all the way across the
room, a good 20-30 feet.
