Hello Listers, I've resurrected a Adaptec 2930 CU SCSI card Slot#3 and
installed into a S900, 9.2.2, IBM 20gig IDE (VST66) Slot#2, Yamaha
2100S CDRW (Bus3, ID#6) & Matshita CR-506 (Bus3 , ID#4) CD drives are
both SCSI, Question is how do I know if their terminated properly? I
"see" them both with SCSI Probe but I can not boot from either drive? I
also have a SCSI Scanner attached to the external port which is
terminated.so the question is "Do I need to terminate the internal
drives" and by what method? "cable termination or jumper". The yamaha
burner is at the end of the chain.

This SCSI stuff is confusing, I installed the Adaptec card only because
I thought I'd get
a little better preformance from it, rather then the internal MoBo.
Can someone point me In the right direction, even suggestions on web
info would be helpful. Thanks in advance,
Phillip
