No.  In most cases you'll do just as well with the unenhanced SCSI 
bus (Bus 1) when you are using CD, CDRW, DVD, tape drives and 
scanners.   Some of the really high speed CD-type drives might 
benefit from a faster SCSI bus, but no much.
