Pete. Assuming you have both machines together and time and patience to do it Why don't you take one stick out of the "good" machine and replace it with one from the "bad" Fire up the "good" if it works take another stick from the "bad" and repeat the process swapping sticks from bad to good and vice versa if at some point in the exercise the good machine won't boot then you have found your problem stick.
