Had the same problems. Tried the board in a 7500, 8600, 9600 and the ZIF in a beige G3MT and it worked fine. Have a friend that has an S900. It worked fine in his machine. We took both machines side by side and took his parts, except logic board and put them in my machine. It still would not work. So, it would appear as though all S900s are not created equal.
