To answer a few questions:

Hi Eric,

The first suggestion is a luxury I can't quite afford at this time. I could
probably pick up a 300mHz zif for $25 just to rule out the carrier being a
problem, but otherwise I'm on a budget for the time being. I've trashed the
finder and System prefs but did forget the MacOS prefs this time around.
I'll give that a try but because I reformatted my drive, and did an entire
reinstall, I doubt that's it.

Now I haven't tried moving ram around yet. In fact, Will had suggested that
to me a few weeks ago. Right now it's interleaved too.

Interestingly, a month or more ago, one of my Tall Rams failed so it got
removed and problems went away. This was during my previous XLR8 G3 300mhz
daughtercard. But yesterday evening I removed the other Tall Ram and my
delayed monitor problem at coldstart went away as did most of the symptoms
using quicktime player. I almost wonder if these funky Tall Rams may be a
slower speed then believed. Unfortunately, removing the One stick didn't
fix my overall crashing problem. I just hope that I don't have something
else wrong that is eating my ram. I will need to try switching the ram
around though.

Ford,
Yeah I checked this and put new grease too. Clip is seated properly. Temps
are fine because I had installed a little cpu fan on top of the bottom front
drive cage and angled the fan towards the cpu. Temp remains a comfortable
40-44 C. I hope I don't have to run this too far below 450 but I guess I
can start backing off a little more to see what happens.

Frederick,
Great process of elimination. I'll have to see how I can rule out my
carrier being the problem too.

Thanks,

Keep throwing me ideas.
