Chuck I currently have a 910 w/256meg RAM 2-4gig HD's and 1-17gigHD. I am running OS 8.1 Photoshop 4.0, Painter 5.0, Illustrator 7.0, Pagemaker 6.0, plus the MS Office suite. It's slow sometimes but gets the job done. As usual I seem to outpace the capabilities of any machine I get way too soon. I have had one major problem however, if I close out or freeze on large Photoshop files 350mb+ I will not be able to open them again. I get a "unable to open due to a disk error". Oh well, that's computing. All this feeds an Epson 3000 4 color inkjet and a GCC 1208S laser printer/plate maker. I also have a UMAX 1200S scanner and a 12x12 Wacom tablet. Oh yea I'm a digital artist. Hope it's helpfull
