quoting his text in my message.  I made no CPU specific references.

No, still not working at all--at least not for pay.  There do seem to 
be an increasing number of job postings for chip designers, so I am 
hopeful.  Still, after three years, every time Bush tries to tell me 
how wonderful every thing is going in the economy, it really sets my 
teeth on edge.
