It's still no use. When I attempt to change it to 1, 2 or 3, I get an
"Invalid BLASTER=D:X" message. The only allowable DMA setting is 0.

The properties for the device driver under Win98 has the following:

Windows Sound System
--------------------
Address 530h IRQ5 DMA: Play 1 Rec 0

Sound Blaster
-------------
Address 220h IRQ5 DMA0

Notice that The "Sound Blaster" section doesn't have a "Rec" setting. The
DMA under Windows uses DMA 1 for Play, but the Sound Blaster DMA is 0. It
is called the "Low DMA channel".

Anyway, as Toshiba support indicated, there hasn't been a driver written to
support DOS *recording* with this SB Pro sound card.
