Partition magic CAN do this, although it is not a free or cheap program,
but if you can get it, or maybe "borrow" it from a friend, that would
answer.  It can be put on a floppy drive and made bootable, that's how I
fool with partitions, just boot to floppy and away I go.  It does need a
decent amount of RAM, 8MB is too little, but my 20MB on my laptop is enough
RAM for it. The one i'm using boots with w98 boot disk, but maybe it'd
handle simpler OSen, like DOS6 or 5?  Depends on the laptop I guess, but it
might be worth trying.
