Now that MicroSoft has eliminated true DOS compatibility >from Windows, the end is nigh. I truly enjoy using both DOS and W31. Even though Microsoft has 'officially' abandoned both DOS and W31 (soon W95) they have retained information in their Knowledgebase for W31 to support businesses that insist they need it. WFWG is a robust OS in it's own right and can share connections with W9x's which means WFWG will be around for awhile yet (which requires DOS to boot up). :-) btw: In case you missed it, I have a batch files for download that can put W31 onto ONE 1.44m floppy using either MSDOS v3-6 or even MSDOS v7.x. Requires a working W31 install but no one has complained that it didn't work for them. It's a hoot booting it on newer hardware and seeing the shock in people's eyes when they see W31 on their brand new Wiz-Bang machine.
