Michael, are you saying that you are no longer using warp-twined borders with your double-faced tablet weaving? I thought the reason for using the warp-twined borders was to give a sturdy edge to the weaving, and that the floats of the DF weave (warps floating over three wefts) would not look good or hold up well with wear. Also, I always think of the border as a place to add extra colors. I turn my border tablets continuously in one direction for the full length of the band, because I don't like the appearance of the reversals. I untie my border warps and push out the twist every six inches or so. I think the appearance is worth this extra work. Also, Michael, I want to say that I enjoyed your video on youtube, and also your article in the latest TWIST journal. Really interesting to read about how it was produced.
