Hey, y'all!

I have bought some of the pink Holland, and the blue
Mason, and they're marked pure silk on the label, and
they burn-test as silk. This is a STEAL, fine filament
silk for $16 per pound. I have put in an order for
some of the "chocolate red," which is a different
brand - haven't seen this one yet - but I'm fairly
certain from the quality of the other stock, this will
be good silk also. This is a fine filament silk
thread two-ply, probably about 400 denier or so.
Thicker than
sewing thread, finer than buttonhole silk. It's 6600
yards per 8-oz cone, which puts it at 1320 yards per
pound.

Note: some of the colors with W, are variegated. You
may want that - it's not my thing. Might be capable
of being overdyed or color-removed, but YMMV.
