I am having the same problem with using 35 cards and warping cotton thread. I didn't think of setting it up like a backstrap loom till now! So I think I will take each set of ten cards and knot them and add them to a dowel and set it up like a backstrap loom. That sould help me. the tension is off so much that the cards want to flop all over and it makes me dissapointed because it took so darned long to thread the cards...and then I couldn't work with it!
