Are you sure that you had the *same* problem? I've checked several
times now, and "use specific template..." *is* checked in the
Properties for the contacts in question. And it really really does
work just fine if I select the addressee first (by opening up the
address book, selecting a contact, and creating a new message; or by
selecting a favorite contact from the popup list next to the Compose
Mail button on the toolbar in the main window). The *only* time I
can't get the automatic templates to work is if I open the Mail
Message Editing window *first* and *then* choose my addressee. That's
what makes this so strange. (and yes, I did upgrade to 1.46. No
change.)
