On 20 September 2000 at 08:25:10 GMT -0400 (which was 13:25 where I
live) Havivah D. Schwartz wrote and made these points on the subject
of "automatic templates":

No template? As in blank? That is a symptom of having a blank folder
template in way. I just explained this issue not long ago under "Re:
Reply templates yet again".

When you come from the AB then the template is there, known and
applied in advance. A different mechanism is involved when a blank
message is addressed or a reply is issued (the same mechanism I think)
and that is what is failing. A blank folder template has been proven
to cause such a failure.
HDS> I can't tell you all how happy I'd be to learn I've missed something
HDS> obvious...
See if this changes anything.
