Seconded. I don't think anything but the acutual _message body_ should
be present in primary preview pane.

Maybe it would be sufficient to show the attachments of type
"message/rfc-822" in additional tabs, as it is done with a HTML part,
attachments of type "text/plain", images and so on.

This would at least allow to read the messages w/o opening the virtual
folder. Of course it would be difficult to make "Reply" or "Forward"
act as it does in a virtual folder when viewing a attached message this
way, but than you still have the "virtual folder" to handle it as a
"native message that behaves as if it had hit your Inbox the usual way".
