A number of knowledgeable people have replied to you in this thread. I
suspect their diagnosis of the issue is accurate, but it is going to
take more work than it *should* for you to convince BellSouth of that,
I'm afraid.
Wow, thanks for the great information, Perry! All I can say is, it's too
bad that you still don't work at BellSouth! Because then, maybe I could get
this handled pretty quickly. :)
But you've made me change direction, that's for sure. There's no way I want
to go through all that. I just don't have the temperament for it. I'd
probably even cause an international incident. So I'm going to opt for Plan
C ("C" for chicken) - i.e., I'm going wait and see what happens next.
I can live with this one party not being able to receive mail from me from
The Bat. I can use webmail, Google Mail, etc. I also talked with a friend
at the company, and she told me that they were having a few propblems with
their e-mail, but she wasn't sure what they were. Some intra-company mail
was getting bounced, too. So maybe this will be a one-off situation, or it
will "heal thyself" over time, and I won't need to speak with anyone in
Manila, etc.
If I get another e-mail bounced by someone else, I'll try your track. Maybe
after I take some Prozac. *Lots* of Prozac.
Again, thanks for all the great information! I sure learned a lot of new
stuff!
Kindest regards,

Joe
