That is why I figure I am doing something wrong. :) I would think I should be
able to pull out the info from Skyward the same as the student side, but so far
I can only pull a report out and then export to excel which is too many extra
steps for an auto system. I do the same thing here. I export the csv and then
the phone system picks up the list and has it ready to go.

I'd be surprised if you cannot pull staff numbers out of skyward - we use
schoolmaster and i was able to put together a simple custom data export that
runs nightly which pulls staff numbers. It is then automatically uploaded to
our voice broadcasting system...I suppose if I needed to look something up I
could go to either the student management system or the broadcast system's list.

I hope I understand your question - on the flip side, I keep a google doc
spreadsheet with staff directory info, including DIDs and extensions...but I do
not believe you are asking about that.

For the above to work I have three things dancing together: A windows scheduled
task that runs the custom data export - a feature/function of schoolmaster. A
scheduled task that runs a WinSCP command to upload the exported *.csv files,
and a setup with the voice broadcasting company that slurps the uploads into
our school interface.

Are you looking for a good way to get staff phone numbers out of Skyward an
into a document that can be distributed? on paper?

How does everyone deal with their staff phone list for calling out?
For students it is easy as there is the student management system that can
handle it. But right now for staff we have the paper copy that is added to in
the offices, but not always put in an electronic format or in a central
location. I really want to build a list for me to put in the phone system. We
use Skyward for the Student side of things, I can't pull staff info out of the
system, or at least not phone numbers, unless I am missing things.
I really hate finding that the system was used and we didn't have staff phone
numbers listed.
Thanks,
