Hi Dane

Nice one!

I use the Twitter client on my BrailleSense daily, and I actually like its
simplicity. I have Twitterific on my iPhone as well, but it is nice to have
some hands-on with Braille at times.

Kind regards,

As I said, your point is taken.

I count myself extremely lucky and I don't mind admitting that I just
happened to be in the very right place at the very right time, there was
someone I knew who was going to do away with his Voice Sense, he'd switched
to IOS devices. I asked him would he take some cash rather than throw the
Voice Sense away so that's the story, someone's trash is someone elses
treasure, no doubt about it.

The Voice Sense is hardly a new product, well mine isn't at any rate given
that its 5 years old however the design and the continual firmware updates
make it a very practical and functional device in today's changing world,
how long this will continue to be the case is anyone's guess, Hims did write
to me at one point telling me that as long as the hardware of the Voice
Sense supported the software then the firmware updates and feature set
updates would keep coming.

I recently discovered the "Terminal mode" which has made yet another
difference, makes integration between IOS and Mac even more seamless, I like
my Braille keyboard rather than a QWERTY one and that's what I'm using right
now to write this eMail, the Braille keyboard of the Voice Sense.

Having said all that, I very much liked the Braillenote Apex too! though its
probably unfair of me to even think about that machine given its quite some
time since I saw one.

Someone may correct me here but it seems to be the approach from Human B
Ware and Hims is different, Hims is more for the integration and employment
way of doing things, hence the standard features of Dropbox, Social Media
etc.
