Hi Dane

I really like the Hims products, no doubt about it. But they are way too
prohibitive for people who aren't working or studying, the main routes to
acquire such kit.

Kind regards,

Just no pleasing some people <smile>.

The price is a little steep however its the only machine of its type I know
of to truly offer facilities designed for the deaf-blind which makes a
difference, an example of this is the in-built Vibrating alert system, I've
been wondering for quite some time why we've not had something like this in
the past in PDA'S designed for the blind.

manufacturers are now moving towards decreasing their prices to meet the

and HumanWare products hands-down. But the price, well, I guess it may not
mean much to somebody who lives on Millionaire's Row. But unless you happen
to be able to get it via an agency you're going to have to save for quite a
while before you can afford one of these devices.

technically the HumanWare Apex current generation simply cannot compete. No
point denying that, it's fact. But even so, whether or not there is a
take-up of these things remains to be seen.
