"No, I'm not wrong. You're wrong. That movie was a dog, and a
rightful fiscal failure. Firefly was a dog of a show and the movie
version was incomprehensible to anyone who was not a devotee of the
show."

Whatever. I wasn't a devotee of the show, i watched all of 4 (maybe 3
episodes) before i gave up on it. I didn't like the western/cowboy aspect of
the show...i gave up on the train robbery episode.

Serenity was fine. I had a few episodes of the show under my belt and i
understood what was happening. Maybe we need less spoon-feeding than you do.

Regarding Avengers, i believe that Wheadon will do a fine job with it,
however, if Avengers bombs with the general public (i think Avengers will
make its money back regarless if it is considered good or bad, there's just
too much hype around it already for it to be a financial failure) Wheadon
will likely be cast out of the big screen side of the business and sent back
to TV. He has a solid track record on the small screen with Buffy and Angel,
lots of fans for his other projects like Dollhouse and Firefly, so his
devotees will continue to follow him waiting for his next 'golden'
production.
