Sorry for steering this thread towards how bad Firefly and Serenity
were.

Jason, I was going to agree with you regarding Whedon and the outcome
of The Avengers, but since you're insulting me by saying I need "spoon
feeding" you can go pound salt.

Ron, I think you are dead-on about the Hulk effects not being ready to
show off, especially considering the sharp backlash from the fans when
the unfinished ILM CGI Hulk was shown in trailers for Ang Lee's Hulk.
I am willing to bet that Marvel wants Hulk to really "WOW" audiences
when he shows up on the big screen in Avengers.

Considering the less than stellar performance of Thor (as compared to
IM and IM2), I am curious to see what both Captain America and then
Avengers will do fiscally.  (Without looking up numbers I am pretty
sure that Incredible Hulk did about the same as Thor.)  Will Avengers
be seen as the third Iron Man film, putting projections in the $300m+
range, or as the followup to Thor and such, putting it in the $170m
range?
