Thanks to Alex for those comments, much appreciated.

I think we can fairly easily change the theme that visitors to
tiddlywiki.com see; by applying it as a custom theme over the top of
the current "default theme" - and without changing the default theme
at all. Then the current theme would become like the old Windows 2000
theme in XP and Vista: there under the covers, but largely ignorable.
