> Do you think it is impossible to improve the look of TW? If I move into a new house, I don't want to see wallpaper, lamps, or other decorations already installed... I want an empty structure with clean, primed walls, plus basic plumbing, wiring, and appliances, ready for me to furnish to suit my particular needs and tastes.
Given that TW is intended to be used as a 'tabula rasa' for people to present their own content, I think it's fairly important that the default CSS should be as simple as possible in order to ensure that document authors can more easily build their own custom look-and-feel on top of the basic TiddlyWiki framework (i.e., the page elements provided by the default [[PageTemplate]] definition: header, mainMenu, displayArea, sidebarOptions, sidebarTabs, etc.). That having been said.... there are definitely aesthetic concerns about the current default look of TW that I think could be improved with just a few small changes. In particular, I think that the big blue header is, well... too big and too blue... and tiddlers should have borders around them... and the list of tiddlers in the sidebar is too long and is hard to read... and... etc. what specific CSS changes do *you* have in mind? -e Eric Shulman TiddlyTools / ELS Design Studios --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
