My brief answers for now are ... ... things you need to memorise / learn you only need to keep until you have learned / memorized them. ... keeping could be for a bunch of reasons. I think that is a quite personal issue. (Personally I am skeptical of the idea one does a TW for perpetuity. But open to being corrected.)
